Lesley University: Teacher Professional Development

Lesley University is a leader in providing teacher training and professional development to those seeking to improve teaching and learning in the PreK-12 classroom. In a variety of formats to meet the needs of adult learners, including online, face to face, in your school, on our Cambridge campus, and at school sites across the country, we offer the following to enhance the expertise of teachers, coaches, parents, paraprofessionals, counselors, and school leaders:

• Full-scale school improvement programs in literacy through our Reading Recovery and Literacy Collaborative programs, directed by author and guided reading expert Irene Fountas.
• Mathematics programs and workshops through the Center for Mathematics Achievement, directed by Anne Collins, author and board member of the National Council of Teachers of  Mathematics.
• PreK-12 professional development workshops for individual schools or districts, which can be designed to fit your needs: request more information
• A variety of classes and workshops that may qualify individuals for Professional Development Points (PDPs)
• Professional Certificate and Endorsement Programs that may qualify individuals for endorsements or second licenses in their home state in a variety of subject areas
• Advanced Graduate Studies Programs (CAGS/EdS), post-master's programs that allow educators to deepen their knowledge and expertise
